In Poland many hunters and so called hunters & breed lovers say that most of our weimaraners are hopeless at hunting... and that they do nothing but sleep and eat. Although I'm not yet a hunter, my weims and I have something to say when it comes to work in the field... and water especially. Here are the photos of my Rider retriving a duck: and here are the photos that make me REALLY proud... It's AISHA Talamasca, our baby girl from our first litter at only 8 months of age (!!!) doing spectacular tracking! The thing which makes me even more proud is the fact that she was trained by one of the most experienced and respected gundog expert in Poland, Mr. Erwin Dembiniok. Patricia

No, and it's a bit unconvenient really, to bring a camera on a cold day. Your hands won't cooperate. There is a chance you end up in the water (which we do have a lot of) or that it'll start raining..... Ohh, don't you just love these days?!!?!?

Tell me about that Sounds so familiar.. sometimes there is so good places to take a photo but the camera is home because there is too cold or wet or.. Nice to hear that I´m not alone ;D
